There’s no right or wrong here—it's all about enjoying the process! At Bright Day Studio, we ignite imaginations, foster artistic exploration, and cultivate lasting connections within our community.

With small class sizes of fewer than 10 children, we ensure personal attention and give kids a safe space to socialize and unwind. We offer a variety of programs, including classes, camps, birthday parties, playgroups, and Open Studio days.

What to Expect:

Each day includes:

  • Multiple guided art projects

  • Open play & imagination time

  • Storytime, games, and free-choice art

Process Art

Discover the vibrant world of open-ended art, also referred to as Process Art. It’s all about imagination taking the lead —exploring mediums and techniques without the constraints of uniformity. The emphasis is on freedom and fun, offering a supportive space for taking risks, problem-solving and following your curiosity. Welcome to a space where discovery is shared with friends and “what if” is our guiding beacon.

FAQs

  • Process art focuses on the act of creating rather than following steps to produce identical pieces. It encourages exploration, creative expression, risk-taking, problem-solving, following instincts and the pursuit of flow. Each piece of artwork may be vastly different.

  • Developmentally appropriate techniques, art vocabulary and some art history will be woven into our sessions. If you are looking for advanced art instruction, I highly recommend the Wayne Art Center or The Mainline Art Center.

  • Yes, of course! Sensory play is fun for all ages, but is especially important for younger children, as it allows them to explore & learn about their world, build hand strength and coordination for handwriting and fosters creative exploration.

  • Due to the difficulty of coordinating makeup classes, we are unable to provide make-up sessions or refunds for missed classes. We appreciate your commitment to attending classes as scheduled to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Community Partners

  • The Paoli Library is a gem tucked in next to the Wells Fargo Bank in Paoli. Bright Day Studio offers monthly process art classes at the library, which are free for the community.

  • Lolo Leo is a wonderful bilingual playschool located two doors down, in Paoli. Bright Day Studio teaches art enrichment classes at Lolo Leo.

  • The Easttown Library is an amazing library located in Berwyn. Bright Day Studio teaches process art classes for elementary-aged children there, which are free for the community.

  • Barre 3 is a fitness studio located just a few minutes down the road, near Handel’s. Stay tuned to hear more about our exciting upcoming collaboration offering parents a Barre3 class while their kids get creative with us at Bright Day Studio.

  • The Malvern Library is a vibrant, newly renovated library in the township building next to Burke Park. Bright Day Studio holds monthly process art classes there, which are free to the community.

  • The Berwyn Farmer’s Market is a lively market located next to Handel’s Ice Cream. Bright Day Studio provides free children’s activities and sells some of our studio favorites, like art kits and paint sticks!

  • The Malvern Farmer’s Market is a bustling market that takes place right in Burke Park. Bright Day Studio offers free art children’s activities and sells some of our studio favorites, like art kits and paint sticks!
