Easy & Fun Crafts To Do At Home!

Crafting is incredibly satisfying—for kids and adults! It’s the freedom of making something the way you imagine it, and the pride of seeing it finished in a short time.

Here are some of our favorite crafts to try at home, with supplies you may already have on hand:

🫧 Beaded Bubble Wands These work wonderfully! Twist the top of a pipe cleaner into a circle or heart shape, leaving space below for a handle. Thread beads onto the handle, dip into bubble solution, and blow!

👑 Paper Bag Crowns
Cut a long strip from a grocery bag, with one side straight and the other zig-zagged or pointed. Use paint sticks, markers, crayons, or stickers to embellish, then punch two holes in the back, slip ribbon or string through, and tie it on!

🌈 Rainbow Collage Cut a large rainbow shape from cardboard or posterboard. Provide colored paper scraps or magazines for your child to cut and glue in rainbow order. Great for scissor practice and color sorting!

🛠️ Makerspace
Gather up recyclables like toilet paper rolls, packaging scraps, oatmeal containers and bottle caps, set out glue or washi tape, and embellishments—think pom-poms, pipe cleaners, and beads. What will your kids build—a robot? A machine? A fairy house? Let their imagination lead the way!

Do you or your kids have a favorite craft? We hope you enjoy these!
